GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
Welcome to the official website of Eyemode. We provide an online platform for purchasing stylish and functional eyewear, including sunglasses, prescription frames, and accessories. We strive to provide accurate product information to help you make informed decisions and get value for your money.
By ticking the checkbox at checkout, you indicate your agreement to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not proceed with your purchase. These terms may be updated occasionally, and it is your responsibility to review them every time you use our website. Continued use of the site confirms your acceptance of the latest version.
CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS AND CONDUCT
We expect the personal details you provide while placing an order to be accurate and complete. Eyemode is not liable for delays or issues resulting from incomplete or incorrect information.
We reserve the right to block access and/or take legal action in case of suspected fraudulent behavior or violation of any terms mentioned here.
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Disrupting the user experience of others on the site.
- Posting unlawful, offensive, or defamatory content.
- Unauthorized copying, reusing, or distributing any content or design elements from eyemode.in
- Attempting to access or interfere with secure areas of the site.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
We aim to provide precise product visuals and descriptions. However, minor differences in color, size, or detailing may occur due to photography and screen variations. Eyemode will not be held responsible for such differences and assures all efforts are made to reflect products truthfully.
If you feel a product is not as described, please contact us promptly for assistance.
ORDER AND PURCHASE
Orders can be placed directly on the website. If required, prescription details must be submitted accurately. Eyemode will not be held responsible for orders based on incorrect prescriptions or preferences.
Once your product is customized (such as prescription lenses), cancellations or changes are not possible. We recommend double-checking your specifications before finalizing the order.
We reserve the right to cancel any order due to:
- Stock unavailability
- Pricing or technical errors
- Suspicion of fraudulent activity
- Incomplete or false customer data
If your order is canceled by us, a full refund will be initiated.
SHIPPING POLICY (CONDITIONS OF DELIVERY)
- We deliver Pan-India using trusted courier partners.
- Shipping is free for all prepaid orders unless otherwise specified.
- You will receive an email and/or SMS confirmation upon dispatch with a tracking number.

- Do not accept delivery if the seal is broken or packaging is tampered.
- For remote locations or unexpected delays, we will update you accordingly.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations are accepted under the following conditions:
For Sunglasses/Frames:
- Cancellable within 48 hours of placing the order or before dispatch (whichever is earlier).
- Once shipped, cancellations are not allowed.
For Prescription Lenses or Complete Eyeglasses:
- Cancellable within 12 hours of placing the order.
- Once lens processing begins, cancellations are not accepted as these are customized.
Eyemode reserves the right to cancel any order. If canceled by us, the customer will receive a full refund.

Refund Eligibility
- Powered Eyeglasses / Sunglasses: These will not be eligible for any return or refunds.
- Sunglasses & Eyeglasses: Eligible for refund within 48 hours from the date of delivery.
- After the refund eligibility period, only exchanges will be provided.
Policy Exclusions
Refunds will NOT be provided in cases of:
- Scratches on frames or lenses (unless reported at the time of delivery).
- Damages due to mishandling after delivery.
Exchanges: A maximum of 1 exchange is allowed per order.
Scenarios That Are Repairable (Not Eligible for Refunds)
Certain issues can be resolved free of charge and do not qualify for refunds.
Note: Repairable option is valid till the warranty period, which is 1 year. Mail us with your order details for a smooth process!

Schedule a Free Pick-Up
1.Request a return via the Eyemode website under “My Orders” or tap “Need Help/Contact Us.”
2. We offer 100% free doorstep pick-up in most cities within 1–2 days of your request (some locations may be excluded).
3. Ensure the product is packed and ready for collection by our designated pick-up partner.
4. The product will go through a quality check – returns with damage, missing items, or empty packages will not be processed.
5. Once approved, your refund or exchange will be processed within 5–7 days.
Self-Ship the Product
1. If your location is not eligible for free pick-up, you can return the product via courier.
2. Pack the product securely in a box.
3. We’ll send you a return shipping label via email – print and attach it to your package.
4. Ship the package to the following address: Eyemode Returns Center (Address Needed)
Courier Reimbursement: We’ll refund up to ₹100 towards shipping costs once the product is received and verified (valid courier bill required).
Refund Process
Refund & Exchange Timeline
Refunds & exchanges take an average of 10–12 days from the initiation date. The refund will be processed only after we receive the product and complete a quality check.
Refund Options
1. Website Credit (Fastest & Most Flexible Option)
2. Instant credit to your Eyemode account after the product is received.
3. Can be used online on the website.
4. Valid for 2 years from the date of issue.
5. 1 Website Credit = ₹5
Important:
1. Once issued, website credit cannot be converted into a refund to your original payment method.
2. Refund to Original Payment Method
3. Wallets / Debit Card: 5–7 business days after product verification.
4. Credit Card: 7–10 business days after product verification.
5. UPI Payment: 48 hours (after submitting your bank details via a secure link).
Note:
If your order was paid using a combination of website credit & online payment, the refund will be processed proportionally.
Refund for Cash on Delivery (COD)
COD order refunds will be initiated by mailing the customer and confirming the bank details given by them.
WARRANTY POLICY
We offer:
Lens warranty upto 1 year
Coverage includes :
1. Lens coating peel off
2. Spotting on lens
Frame warranty upto 6 months
Coverage includes :
1. Frame Discoloration/ colour fade
2. Frame coating peel off
3. Corrosion on frames
Warranty does not cover:
- Damage from misuse, accidents, wear and tear, or improper storage.
- Discoloration, scratches, or breakage due to negligence.
Our warranty covers the following manufacturing defects: - Frame Discoloration

- Lens Coating Peel-Off
- Lens Spotting

PRICING & PAYMENTS - All prices on Eyemode.in are listed in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.
- We reserve the right to revise prices, offers, and promotions without notice.
- Eyemode is not liable for any typographical or system errors in pricing. If identified, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.
- We accept online payments via UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and wallets. We do not store your payment credentials.

These minor repairs are not covered under the warranty but can be resolved free of cost:
1. Loose or Missing Frame Screws

4. Nose Pad Replacement

How to Claim Warranty
1. Submit 3–4 clear images of the defective product along with your Order ID & Contact Details.
2. Claim Review – Our expert team will respond within 24–48 working hours.
3. Processing Time – The complete validation and exchange process may take 5–7 working days.
4. Claim Status Updates – All updates will be sent to your registered email.
Care & Maintenance Tips
1. Never place glasses lens-down to prevent scratches.
2. Always store in a protective case when not in use.
3. Use a microfiber cloth for cleaning.
4. Use only lens cleaner—avoid harsh liquids or chemicals.
SITE CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on Eyemode.in — including images, graphics, designs, text, logos, and code — is the property of Eyemode. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
DISCLAIMER
While we strive to keep all content, prices, and stock information up to date, Eyemode cannot guarantee the absence of errors. We are not liable for:
- Interruption in service
- Typographical inaccuracies
- Delays or failures caused by external service providers
Use of the website is at your own risk. We are not responsible for damages resulting from use, download, or browsing of the website.
SECURITY OF INFORMATION
We prioritize your privacy and data security. Any personal information collected during registration, checkout, or customer support is protected as per our Privacy Policy.
However, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

YOUR INDEMNITY

FORCE MAJEURE
Eyemode shall not be held liable for delays or failure in performance due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Eyemode’s total liability shall be limited to the purchase value of the product in question. We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of business, revenue, or reputation
- Delays beyond our control
TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
These terms remain effective unless terminated by you or Eyemode. You may discontinue use of the website at any time. We reserve the right to terminate your account without prior notice in case of breach of terms.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
This agreement is governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Kolkata.
